Cricket Coaching for Owls - The children really enjoyed the range of games and activities. They have developed many skills, including: hand-eye coordination, communication, teamwork, aiming and balance.

Photographs from Owl class' PE lesson on Monday. The children have spent 6 weeks creating their own gymnastics sequence to the song 'A Million Dreams'. The main objectives were to use counter-tension and counter-balance. Great planning and teamwork was seen. Head over to the Video Resource area, you can watch the performances.
Natural History Museum Trip - Jan 2019
Owl class are currently learning and performing Michael Jackson's: I'll be there. The childen are thoroughly enjoying listening to a range of Michael Jackson's songs. We are learning the lyrics with backing vocals!!! We are also playing the glockenspiel to accompany the song.
After a busy week converting improper fractions, owls class investigated the 'rectangle tangle' and worked in pairs to investigate the fractions of each shape.
Owls' recent scientific investigation. They worked in groups and decided to investigate either: Does the temperature of the water affect the rate at which sugar dissolves? or Does the amount of water sugar is dissolved in affect how quickly it dissolves?
Following our topic of War Horse and the inspirational WW1 poems that we studied. We were compelled to write our own poems describing the horror the soldiers endured in the trenches and on the front line.
