Ash Wednesday
The childrden all visised the church at the start of Lent to celebrate Ash Wednesday. This vsist to the church was the first that has been possible for a few years and the first to mark the start of Lent .
The service was lead by Rev Helen who lead a short service wihth a short play about the Christian meaning of Lent. At the end of the service the chldren were given an opportunity to experience an ash cross if they wanted to.
