Snapping the Stilleto project
The children from Year 5 and Year 6 were very fortunate to be invited to join the Snapping the Stiletto project at Saffron Walden Museum. The organisers of the project invited the children to the museum to learn about the role of women in history and how that could be represented in art. The children were then sent back to school with a box of art materials to build on their learning in school.
Once the children had been given time to complete their art, they were invited back to the museum with their families and staff to see their own art exhibition. our thanks goes to Charlotte and the other museum staff.
