The COVID-19 pandemic was undoubtedly a challenging time for families, children and young people as the school was closed from March until June 2020. The closure of schools and enforced social distancing, included home working for many households, that placed a particular strain on family life.
As we approach a new school year ,we are aware that many of the issues of the Covid 19 remain with us. Our commitment to strong mental health reflects our school values and it can be seen in our approaches, such as our use of the mental health toolkit . We review this during our regular our mental health days that start each half term. We also have learning mentor and access to counselling services for those children who need additional support.
On this page we have signposted appropriate resources to equip families to cope in these challenges times. Please remember that we are always here to help.
