Uniform Information
We encourage children to wear a simple uniform, based on the colours navy blue and grey. We expect the children to stick to these colours including hair bands and ribbons.
For the foreseeable future children must come to school in PE kit on their PE days. When a child is going to Forest Schools then they are encouraged to wear their own clothes with long sleeves and welly boots.

Footwear
Children should wear black school shoes. Trainers may only be worn on PE days.
PE Kit
For PE kit, please note the following:
- Sky blue t-shirt and navy sports shorts
- Outdoor PE kit of navy jogging trousers and a navy sweatshirt and is recommended for the cold weather
- Pupils should wear trainers
- Currently, PE Kit should be worn to school on PE days. This will be reviewed when the current hygiene guidelines can be relaxed.
Swimming
There are no swimming lessons at present. We hope to resume our regular lessons at Grange Paddocks Leisure Centre soon.
Jewellery
Children may wear a simple watch to school and may wear one pair of small stud earrings but no other jewellery should be worn.
In line with Essex County Policy, earrings must be removed for PE lessons. It is no longer allowed to cover earrings, including newly pierced ears, with tape for PE. We therefore recommend that if parents are planning to have children’s ears pierced, this is done at the beginning of the summer holidays so that earrings can be removed on return to school.

Book bags are available from the school office and are priced at £6.99.
Water bottles are available from the school office and are priced at £1.50 each.
Lost Property
Please mark all items of clothing and footwear with your child’s name. Please ask at the school office if an item has been lost. Unnamed lost property is stored for a week and then disposed of.
